MARGARET SPENCE

Margaret Spence is a talent futurist, AI governance educator, and founder of The Inclusion Learning Lab — and one of the few voices in the HR space translating AI liability law into governance frameworks that HR leaders can actually operationalize.

She is the author of When AI Breaks the Law: AI Governance for Talent Leaders and four additional books on leadership and organizational strategy. Her work has taken her to the stages of SXSW, ATD, SHRM, and the Brazil Humanship conference, where she challenges HR leaders to stop passing AI accountability off to others and start owning it.

Margaret developed the SimpliFocus™ Framework after studying the systemic patterns behind AI implementation failures — patterns that surface in discrimination litigation, regulatory investigations, and boardroom crises, long before HR leaders realize they are exposed.

She doesn't teach compliance. She builds governance architects.
